Any way to display a calendar on gear?

I know I can check today's calender items but I'd just like to see a calendar to check dates... Maybe scroll ahead a couple of months even if it doesn't show Google calendar events.

I would recommend installing the Null ROM

But then Nova Launcher doesn't allow using the entire surface of watch. I am a vzw user and unrooted phone so I don't have bluetooth tether either which is needed for null rom.

Either sideload a calendar app like Digical, or read stuff about bluetooth tethering on xda - there are ways to do it without rooting - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590498

Thanks but those ways are expressly prohibited by vzw. I will look into how to side load an app to gear but without bluetooth tethering I don't see how the app can work in the Gear.
