That would mean sprint service...

It is just printed on. I was able to remove mine with a fine emery board with little effect on the surrounding pebble finish.

Methylethylkeytone will wipe it away, but I am sure it will take more than AT&T with it.

If I wanted to remove it I would try nail polish remover.

As others said -- not without probably damaging the back. Throwing a case on it would be the best / easiest way.
