Any way to transfer game save data to Nexus without rooting?

I had a bunch of games on my old Thunderbolt that I had saved progress on, and I was kinda hoping to get that running on my new Nexus. I had rooted my Thunderbolt, but I don't currently want to root my Nexus. On the Thunderbolt, I used MyBackupPro; someone had told me you don't have to be rooted to use this app to backup/ restore save data, but when I try to use it to restore on my Nexus, it doesn't restore any of the saved data.

It DOES work with restoring APKs via MyBackupPro, but it won't restore actual data.

Any other way to do this?
