I've tried it with both Polarismail and EuMX. When Android mail uses Exchange Activesync it consistently shows folders as being empty, or at best shows a subset of the available messages in a folder. Sometimes it will show messages in a folder when you first set up EAS, and later when you visit the folder again it permanently shows as empty. When I manually refresh a folder that doesn't fix things. It's almost like an errant filter, but Android mail doesn't have filters. Search won't pick up the email messages either. I know the messages are there because IMAP clients see them just fine. Incoming emails trigger notifications appropriately, and I can read those emails in my INBOX, at least for a while, but eventually my INBOX will also get the false empty treatment until the next new email appears.
Moto X running 4.4.2. Days to Sync is set to "All", frequency set to "Automatic (push)" and yes, before you ask, "Sync email" is indeed checked.
Does anybody know what could be wrong?
