Anybody get a problem free display?

Mine is doing fine. The blue tint is soooo miniscule. I don't even notice it. There's no screen burn. I'm actually liking this screen. Of course some troll is going to go but but blah blah blah.

I have had my XL for a week now and using it to do all the productive things I have always done..Seeing zero issues with the screen. I don't look at my phone at an angle and its mounted in my car for 10 to 14 hours a day and the screen is generally on GPS and streaming some type of audio. Or the screen sleeps when the GPS is off. Tint is not visible on a map screen.

I can't see any burn in, and with 8.1 the nav bar dimms so it really shouldn't be an issue..

Edit and update 11 Days now and on...8.1 for 3 or 4 days now...Still no screen issues..

I received my Pixel XL2 today and literally have zero blue shift. Coming from a Note 8 the screen colors definitely do not pop but I know it's deliberate and can be fixed with a software update. Other than that the software is absolutely amazing and the screen colors do not bother me and they do create less fatigue. Display is definitely warmer than the Note 8 but it's a very nice screen.

When you try the camera, listen to the speakers and see how smart this phone is you'll be as amazed as I am. Definitely the best phone I've ever used.

...don't they all have the blue shift?

But it's pretty irrelevant because you're supposed to look at your phone head on?

Received mine the first week, the 19th to be exact, and I have no problems. I saw the blue tint at angles when I bored up there first time, but only because I looked for it. If these phone sites weren't making such a huge deal about it, I wouldn't have noticed or looked. No sings of burn in either. Like others said, I'm sure they are some people work real issues from damage or a bad batch, but think it's being blown out of proportion in an attempt to get clicks.

I'm obviously not discrediting those who have burn-in or a blue tint, because that is for sure happening and it's very unfortunate; but I also think what's happening here is what often happens with online forums and online reviewing: some people are more likely to post about issues or problems (ie, looking for help with their devices), or negative reviews, than they are to post about favourable results, opinions, or reviews.

Again, I am certainly not overlooking the fact that there is a problem with displays on the 2XL in this case... I just think there are multiple factors that are at play here (ie, people with affected displays; people with said issues may be more likely to post about it than those without, which can make it seem like way more devices are affected; and of course, media presence and speculation).

Got my 128GB 2XL yesterday and so far so good. Blue at about a 45 degree angle but that's expected.

FTR, Ordered 10/5, Manufactured 10/10.

My screen has the blue tint when tilted past maybe 20 degrees. Less if I move the phone further away from my eyes, which is why I'm guessing people have different degrees of tilt where the blue tint turns on. Or maybe there is a manufacturing variability, not sure.

That said, I love the accurate colors. When I first went to Verizon, I think I was disappointed and thought the screen looked washed out compared to Samsung and my original Pixel XL. But after using the Pixel 2 XL for a couple days, I love them. Everything like people's skin just looks right. It looks better than when sRGB is turned on with the original Pixel.

I also think the screen, even with the blue tint is better than the Pixel XL first gen. Yes, I would prefer the blue tint to not be there, or to be less noticeable, but other than that the display looks good. Better than my last phone. And everything else with the phone, especially the camera, I'm loving. I'm even enjoying the squeezeable google assistant, which I thought would be a gimmick I'd never use.

IMG_0042.jpg The blue tint isn't that big of a deal but my Pixel 2 XL is going back. Mine was delivered Wednesday afternoon and Thursday night I turned my phone to watch a YouTube video and noticed a dark line across the display right below where the top notification bar is. Shifted to the picture gallery and sure enough there is this dark line across the display. This morning when I woke up the line was completely gone. an hour or so into my morning and it was slowly creeping back in and within 2 - 3 hours into my day the line was just as dark as it was last night and only getting worse. I've already got my RMA and unfortunately it's going back today for a refund. the first 24 hours I loved the feel of the device, the camera was awesome and the front facing speakers were an amazing upgrade over last years model.. but the screen issue is just a complete deal breaker. Maybe (hopefully) Google does something about the panels and come Christmas or first of next year it's fixed to the point of taking another stab at it...

Had mine for three days and I love my screen. Colours are great for me and no issues. Blue tint is no issue with my tinted lenses on my always-on glasses. I am seriously happy with my new phone.

My 2 and 2 XL are fine. Just not happy about dark videos and blacks losing details. It's either too dark or if I turn the brightness up it crushes the black to nothing but blotches. Especially the smaller p2.

Not a single issue with the phone. The screen, the speakers, the Bluetooth, nothing. I love the battery life and the speed. Easily the best phone I've ever owned.

A friend and I tested the camera against a iPhone X yesterday afternoon and even he, and his Apple loving wife, like the Pixel image better. (so did I)

I will admit to missing some of my Moto X features, but I don't miss Marshmallow.

My display is problem free. No issues at all. I just got my Pixel XL 2 several days ago. And no screen display problems at all. No blue tint or anything. And I have severe OCD, so if there was the slightest thing wrong with it, I would have seen it when I first got it.

So I've always said my screen was issue free, but yesterday morning I noticed I had a LOT of blurring. I was scrolling through my Google feed and as I scrolled, any pictures with black with blue a dark blue as I scrolled down. I was crushed. And it happened all of a sudden.

Then I realized I previously turned my brightness up to look at some photos and then turned it back down, but darker than previously. Turned the screen brightness back up slightly (it's now at 38%) and the issue disappeared.

I share in hopes that someone with a similar problem will try this before just assuming they had a bad screen.

There is nothing wrong with these displays. All those threads about the 'horrible" blue shift are only reflective that many reviewers will jump on any bandwagon to create content and get eyeballs.
