Anybody get the 4.4.3 update yet?

Makes use SU is installed. You make need to run it for root (it should tell you that).

No, I tried to flash it using rom manager, not sideload it. Probably the issue. I got that to work on my GNex and 4.3, but apparently doesn't work here.

Seriously, for those who still don't have it, take 10 minutes to figure out sideloading and just install it yourself... You'll be glad you did. It's a tiny but useful skill.

I've sideloaded before but that's besides the point.

The OCD in me wants it to come via OTA :p

Just checking in. T-Mobile nexus 5, no ota as of now. Also a 2013 n7 (non lte) and nothing. Sort of glad its not just me.

I was seriously getting tired of stabbing at the check now button. It was well worth learning to do....thanks!

I agree I think they pulled it.
I bet this is why... Google Search On Android Is Having Trouble With, You Know, Searching For Many Users

however i doubt that issue is caused by the update...
Google should inform Nexus users when they stop the OTA roll outs..

If we start seeing Android 4.4.4 soon... we know why!

(I really hope I am wrong and they didn't pull it though.)

Not sure if they pulled it. I decided to power on my old Nexus 4 yesterday (6/8) after a long slumber.

I got 4.4, 4.4.2, and 4.4.3 all OTA on WiFi with no Sim.

Nexus 5 on tmobile and still no update, and this was one of the first batches of phones shipped from the play store.

To add insult to injury, my wife's Moto G (also on tmobile) has had the 4.4.3 update for two days now.

I've manually checked for the update via wifi and LTE and no update for me. Will check out sideloading, but I'm not rooted and the boot loader is still locked, don't want to wipe data, so not sure if that is an option for me.

Same here. Nothing yet here. I heard a rumor that the 4.4.3 was buggy and they stopped pushing it out. If that is the case, then they can have 4.4.3 and I will get the 4.5. or 5.0 thank you.

I have 4.4.3...search is working normally for me. Whatever it is, I doubt it's the update thats doing it.

I have a Nexus 5 on T-Mobile. Got the prompt for the update last Friday.

Well...you did have the option to sideload it. Just sayin.

Frankly it does not seem like that big a deal to me. Have noticed a minor speed increase on some stuff but thats it.

I've manually checked for the update via wifi and LTE and no update for me.
The buttons used to check for updates are placebos. The phone will check on it's own once a day...there is no way to force it to check more often. The button does not even bother asking anyone...when you click it, it will just change the time to whatever the current time is. The button lies.

Will check out sideloading, but I'm not rooted and the boot loader is still locked
Do not need to be rooted or unlocked to sideload official updates. But it will definitely wipe your data. And you will need to do it via fastboot from a PC.
How to manually update Nexus 5 to Android 4.4.3 KitKat

I don't think the check for update button is a placebo. I checked this morning and it said that I had no update. I just checked and it said the last check was @ 2:47. I hit the check for update button at 3:05 and it said that I had the update ready for 4.4.3. I'm downloading it now.

Yep...did the same thing and now I have the update cued up. I will wait until I get home to download it via WiFi.

Been waiting, thought it was pulled due to the rumors here.

But just now got the "System update available" message!

semi-scared to update due to some of the battery-related panic here, but I'll likely take the plunge very shortly.

IMO the battery scare is overblown...my results are about the same as they were before. And they should be worse, since I have the google hotword thing enabled on Nova Launcher.

Same here. I thought it was pulled and then randomly received the same notification. That was unexpected!
