Anybody going to Switch to S5 from Note 3?

I have to say maybe, not sure yet. I don't use my Pen and the size of the Note 3 does make one handed operation awkward. I'll make my choice after I physically check out the S5.

While I like some of the features of the S5, I am staying with the Note 3. That said, it is a bit unusual for someone to go to the galaxy S series to the note series and back. Two different phones for two different markets.

I'm still a little new to Samsung. What market does the Galaxy s cater to? I need to look up that phone. Is it a lower model than the Note 3?

Some want a tablet experience from their device, sans note 3. Some do not want such a large device with a stylus, sans galaxy s series. The line isn't exactly clear as both phones have large displays IMO. You have not heard about the galaxy s phones? Like the Galaxy s3? Galaxy s5?

Hi! Was just about to come back on here and ask why does the s5 look so much like the Note 3? Dislike.

I've heard but never researched them. Note 3 is my very first Android phone and I got because someone recommended it to me.

The Note series is based off of the S series.
One isn't necessarily better than the other, but when each is released, they're superior (in terms of specs) than the other. For example, the Note 3 was released about 6 months after the S4, and it had better specs. 6 months later, we will see the S5 released, and that has better specs than the Note 3, etc.

That makes sense. And the Note series is more of a tablet like the previous poster mentioned.
Do they usually look similar too? The s5 look just like the Note 3. I know that it's a bit smaller.

The note seems to have the bleeding edge Hardware, even the new gs5 doesn't seem to compare to the older note 3, overall it really just comes down to size and SPen.

The note 3 does have better battery life than my iPhone 5S. One of the reasons I stay with the notes. Looking forward to the note 4!

Since one of the main reasons I got my Note 3 was the stylus, that would be a no. I'm sure the S5 will be a very nice device but I am totally happy with my Note 3. No reason to even look.
