Anybody got shipping notice from Google

They won't deliver it tomorrow. For Saturday shipping, the shipper has to request and pay extra for that when it is shipped. Sorry.

Damn. And I assume there's no chance of picking it up at the local UPS?

My local UPS doesn't allow it. You could try calling them.

Local UPS here does allow pickup. Call the 800 number to see if they can put it aside for you.

Still nothing on my order from 7/5. Calls google this morning and they had no update other than it should ship by next wed. He blamed it on ups being overwhelmed.

The only thing that could be referring to is them shipping out thousands of Nexus 7 tablets right now as well as all of the regular orders. But even then they should be prepared for it.

I am sure you will get the device. We do get impatient sometimes but they just want through a thing with a company called Apple. We are lucky that they are even able to ship the device this soon with all that went on. I got mine before I even knew the legal stuff would halt sales for a few days. I would give it the better part of this upcoming week and see what happens. If they show they received your order when you sign in then it's going to happen. If you don't get any info by Thursday or Friday I would call or email them. BTW: the device is great and it's worth the wait.

Blaming Apple for Google's processing and shipping mishaps is a bit chincy. I ordered mine on July 3rd. I still have not received mine. People who ordered an entire week after I did have received their shipment. This is Google's fault. I have called four times and sent numerous emails. No one in their Google Play Store support department or their "specialists" can tell me why my order has not shipped yet. Again, this is Google's fault.

You're not alone, buddy. No updates on my Gnex or Nex7 orders. Just that they received both on the 29th.

I'm not even trying to contact them, pointless.

Ordered mine on the 15th... no tracking number has shown up yet, but I don't expect to see one after just one day, especially after seeing some of the delays here. Unfortunately this means I might have to go back to my BlackBerry Tour for a few days, so I hope Google ships it soon.

Ordered two of them on the evening of the 12th. Haven't received any shipping info at all. Hopefully today! Seems very hit or miss with the ordering system on Google Play.

Ordered on the 13th. Received today around noon. Within 5 minutes of it being booted, it promped me to update to Jelly Bean. This is the best phone I have ever used. I thought my SGS2 was amazing. This def is MUCH better!
