Re: Anybody leave Verizon for Spring

Well I've decided to leave sprint after buying the note 4, only to realize that with sprint's new "spark" network you can't talk and surf(use data) at the same time. So that means you can't use apps like instagram, Facebook, or even use the gps during a call. I think that's ridiculous, especially on a "flagship phone" I had no problems whatsoever doing this on my samsung galaxy s4. So after 13yrs with sprint i'll be leaving them tomorrow.

Hey did you leave? For who and do you like the service better?? I'm ready to go because of this very reason...

Re: Anybody leave Verizon for Spring

Unfortunately Sprint's tri-band LTE devices are not SVDO (Simultaneous Voice Data) they are single path due to the LTE radio configurations. The only Sprint devices that support SVDO are the pre-Spark single-band LTE devices such as the Galaxy S3 SPH-L710.

Guess it depends on where you live or work. Don't work at my house, or in my work place. Block bldg. with cement in the blocks. I'm pretty much on Verizon, because they service my area better. Get out in the mountains, and everybody is spotty, but city coverage is why I stay with Verizon.

That is so true about the mountains but i love the mountains as it is my home. Up there even Verizon has dead spots and alot of calls only. That is to be exspected.

Yep. The mountains are a carriers worst nightmare.

I left Verizon for Sprint, my coverage hasn't suffered at all. When I talk to some family members who are on Verizon, they have issues with call quality but my calls are clear.

I left for Sprint and never been happier. Sprint spark works great in my area and i have unlimited everything.

I have been with Sprint for 14 years in orlando and have never had a problem. I have AT&T for work and an iPhone and get dropped calls ALL the time.
