Anyone Able to Remove AT&T From Notification Shade?

On past Motorola phones, they had a setting where I could remove it. Guess this is not a possibility without root?

I don't think so (without root). AT&T loves to remind you that you're on AT&T when no notifications are present.

For sure, because the AT&T logo on the back and the direct withdrawal from my bank account wasn't enough...

It can be annoying, but it is useful to me when I travel to know what network my phone is connected to.

Eh, it's always up top on my iPhone, too. No matter what. So it doesn't bother me that much.
