Has anyone been successful in getting a replacement device on claiming poor battery life? I bought a s7 from Target and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they or a carrier store can handle a warranty issue. My battery just seems to drop by the percentage just sitting and watching it. Didn't do it first and about 2 weeks or so into owning it the battery issue started. Seems I have heard others say the same. This will be my first issue with any phone I have owned.

Try clearing the cache partition.

Also, see what is eating your battery as it could be a program that is at fault.

They're going to ask you to master reset it first. You may want to try that just in case

Try uninstalling Google connectivity services as well as Google exchange services.

I thought battery was a bit poor at first so I rooted it added superman rom I have used titanium backup on all my phones I then froze all the crap you don't need battery now lasts 3 days easy

I reset the phone to factory today and reinstalled my apps. I left all the factory setting and apps as they are. I did not disable or uninstall anything yet. Going to let it do it thing for a couple of days.

Hey Waqqas31 what do the 2 google services you mentioned do? Any harm in uninstalling?

Apparently the connectivity services are needed if you have a Google Fi connection, and I guess the exchange services are for... Exchange :) But, these are just my best guesses.

I was getting 6-8 hours doing pretty simple web stuff. I did a hard reset and let the store reinstall my apps. Without doing anything further I'm now getting 12-14 hours. (Nothing like 3 days though ;)
