Anyone buy unlocked in the USA?

If so, can you list the retailer you purchased from, the model number and if it was region locked upon receipt? Any other issues, specifically using on ATT.

It was my understanding that all the phones were essentially unlocked until a sim was inserted then it was locked to the carrier

That's nothing to do with S7, all Verizon phones are sim unlocked as required by the FCC.

The version phones are but Verizon specifically had Samsung remove important bands for att and t-mobile. Super annoying.
