Anyone?

We have both a pixel and S7.
Love both but torn on which to keep. Pixel flows better and smoother but speed wise feels the same.
Some features I miss on the S7. But I like the pixels camera more.
I don't know what to do lol.

Considering swapping pixel for S7 been with the Pix for 9 days of dropped calls and call where my voice dropped but audio retained.

Swapped for a second Pix and seems more of these same. Assume my next best device is S7?!?

I'm actually on my second pixel too as my first had an uneven screen tone so returned it. This new one has actually reset itself a few times.

Really? You think the Pixel camera is better? I came from the Note, well 2 Note 7s, and no way do I think the Pixel XL camera is as good. The phone has its own charms and if I can't have the Note 7, this phone is fine. Definitely faster and more fluid, though lacking some things I really miss, but a good phone. If you really can't decide, try using one all day for one day and then the next day use the other one. At some point, one or the other should tip the balance for you. Just an idea.

I've been using the s7 for months and been using the pixel for the last week. Still struggle to choose. I've been testing the cameras all week too. Only thing I really don't like about the s7 camera is the whites that blow out so easily in some shots and the pinkish hue you sometimes get when the camera is aimed at lighter colours when inside. (issues I've always had with Samsungs)
Anyways I'll try and give myself a deadline then choose.

I've got the S7 edge and a ZTE axon 7. So far, for what I paid, I'm totally unimpressed & dissapointed with the pixel. It's just slightly faster than my other 2 phones, and missing quite a few top notch things that you would expect from a top tier phone. The pixel is very well built, but so is the S7 edge and axon 7. Memory expantion not available, no waterproofing, horrible sounding speakers, and bluetooth issues. When I plugged the cable that came with my pixel into it to transfer my data and media, I got a notice that the cable I was using was not compatible with my phone. REALLY, Then why include it with directions on how to transfer? So far, I'm probably returning the pixel. The camera on pixel is very good, but not better than the galaxy. And without OIS, you'd better have a steady hand to take videos. The S7 edge is a much better product. But truthfully, the best deal out of the 3 is the Axon 7. Build quality the same, more features, and the reason I bought it, the dolby atmos sound system. And it cost almost half of the other 2. Oh, and I didn't mention that Google assistant, so far, couldnt do anything different than whats on the S7 edge and axon. These are simply my observations. Believe me, I wanted to love this phone. But for what you get, way to expensive.

I'm going to see the week out using the pixel then play with the s7 again on the weekend. Then decide after that I think.

How do you compare the Axon camera to the pixel and S7? I haven't found a ton of comparisons, but one of them showed the Axon being terrible in low light. Thanks.

I got my pixel XL two days ago and already defaulted back to my s7 edge. I started getting buyers remorse with the pixel and although the phone is really fast and gave me zero issues, the s7 edge to me is the better of the two. I couldn't justify paying $800 for the pixel when I had an s7 edge sitting on my night stand. I can keep both and switch between the two but for whatever reason I always just go back to using my S7E. Guess that is telling me something about how good the s7 really is. Battery is definitely much better on the pixel, but that's why I have easy access to fast wireless charging for my s7.

I think your going to do the same thing i did, use the pixel but end up going back to Sammie. Let me know how your experience is!

Still, the pixel is a very impressive device for its first go around!

Switched from a gold 7S Edge to a pixel, and the only regret I have is the lack of water proofing. I love the speed and smoothness of the phone, and the on time updates as well as the prospect of always having the latest Android OS more than make up for it. Throw in no carrier bloat ware and a battery that actually lasts me all day and I am very happy with my switch. Put my S7E up for sale, and paid for half of the price of the pixel xl

You are correct. My comparison as for the rest of the phone. The low light pics are not horrible, just not as good as the S7 or pixel. Sorry for the confusion

I, too, have both the S7E and the XL and am trying to decide. I am leaning toward the S7E because it is a more complete, well-rounded package, but the speed and smoothness of the XL and the quick(ish) updates from Google are attractive. I have three more days to decide on the XL. If it cost $700, the decision would be easy. At $900, it is hard to justify.

I think the form factor of the s7 edge is what keeps me coming back to it. The curved edges cut down a lot of width and I found myself not being able to do anything one handed on the XL. I have zero issues using my s7 edge one handed due to its compact design. That is what is so attractive when it comes to the s7 edge, in my opinion

I have the s7 Edge and I don't see any reason to get a Pixel. I may get the Pixel at a later time or wait for next years version. Waterproofing, sd car, wireless charging, and despite being 7 months older, a camera that actually outperforms the Pixel in several areas. S7 Edge is a work of art, whereas the Pixel, well it has a look only a mother could love. :p

I also think Pixel XL camera is better, had S7 edge, Note 7, HTC 10, One plus 3 before. Now have the the iPhone 7 plus and Pixel XL.

Till now like Pixel camera the most, followed by S7, Note 7 and then iPhone 7 plus.

Well, so far, I agree with you. The Pixel isn't impressing me at all. Real world speed depends on so many factors. Right now, I'm not noticing any difference between my S7 Edge and the Pixel. I'm seriously considering a return.

I've had every Note they have made and I loved the Note 7. In fact I still have not sent it back as yet its siting on my desk. When they had the second recall I bought the S7Edge and a week later the XL was released so I traded the S7 in on the XL and personally I have been pretty happy for the most part. I found the S7 seemed a bit small after having the notes for so many years. I don't know if was the edge if what but I kept inadvertently opening apps everytime I picked the darn thing up. I have not had that issue with the XL
