Anyone connecting a smart watch to their note 9? looking for opinions and options

Had the s3 for the first week with my note 9, but I wasn't happy with the s3 since the Tizen 3.0 update. Picked up the galaxy watch Tuesday and so far I'm liking it, but I don't wear it all day because my job would ruin it. Battery life seems decent with all the features turned on and it's much more responsive than the s3. The only thing I'll really miss is the mst.

I have the same issue due to my choice of workplace so I ended up using a wrist sweat band over it ! This way I can still wear it and protect it.

Hey did you have any issues with BT disconnecting? I have the 5X but it was disconnecting. I actually think their is something wrong with the watch because the heart rate is way off, I am considering switching to the Galaxy watch.

So I'd like to know what smart watch everyone is using and why? I just recently switched from apple to samsung, I had the X with a series 2 apple watch. I now have the Note 9 and a S3 frontier (traded my apple watch for it). The S3 is nice but one thing I don't like is when connected to my phone it doesn't mute my phones notifications and just ding my watch, So my phone dings then a split second later the watch dings. I really just want my watch to go off, that was one thing I really liked about the apple watch, all notifications came to the watch and no noise from the phone.

Is there a setting I'm missing or is that just a feature that isn't there?

I have the LTE version and my phone will still get the notifications even with the screen off. I like you dont think I should have to mute my phone. I also liked that if i switch my apple watch to DND it automatically did my phone as well. Im almost tempted to go back to apple for this very reason
