Anyone consider the Samsung S phones before getting your X?

and do you think we X owners will get froyo before the S owners do?


For those that do not know the T-mobile Vibrant and ATT Captivate are Galaxy S phones with the Super AMOLED screens

Well, If you get Froyo before September then yes, but the Galaxy S (original) is scheduled to get Froyo in September. As for the others, hard to say.

I own both the Droid X and the AT&T Captivate. I like the Droid X more. The Samsung Galaxy S is a nice phone but the Droid X just offers me what I want more. The LED Notification Light on the X is a must have for me, the build on the X is better. I do like the size of the Galaxy better but overall I like the X better. IMHO After owning both phones, I would still buy the X over the Galaxy.

I think that the Droid X is an overall better device that the current Galaxy S versions, however, we will see how the Epic 4G is going to be.

the epic 4g is a Samsung Galaxy s phone with a keyboard. Same device.

Yes I am holding off on getting the X. While the X performs flawlessy when running linpack. It averages similar scores to the Galaxy S. Where the GS come sout on top is the GPU and the screen technology.

The superamoled really kicks ***.

Only reason to get a moto x is if you need a verizon phone now or if you want the extra real estate.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions however. I personally think the Samsung Glaxy S is the superior device, but to each their own.
