The Rezound can talk and use data on 3g. I don't think another Verizon phone can do that. At least not an lte phone.

Not sure why that's relevant.

I think the Thunderbolt is capable of that too.

Lets not get carried away! If Samsung decided to adapt a closed eco-system such as Apple, I'd be the first to jump ship to another, more open system. I'm not tied and bound to Samsung like the majority are with Apple.

All I know is that I showed all of my coworkers (who all have iPhone 4's and 4S') the Galaxy S III today and they all said they prefer the look of the S3 over the iPhone 5 and how it seems like a true upgrade vs. another marginal improvement. The iPhone 5 is for people who prefer their stuff to stay the same. A guy I know actually said "as long as it does what I can do right now, only faster then i'm happy". With that mentality Apple could never bother changing anything and still have their core of customers who will buy anything they release.

Everyone keeps going back and forth on what is better and what previous phones but ill give one fact that trumps it all..


This is an Android forum and this Apple / iPhone thread has more replies than most of the ones geared twords Android stuff / questions / advice...


Now to me that is funny.. People Might hate Apple but they can still get the people that are anti-apple to go on and on about their products... I personally like either..i had an iphone from 3gs to the 4..swapped and like this better. So.. I'll use what I like

You should check out the comments on Cnet articles/reviews on the iPhone5 these days.
Its 99% on which one is better, coming from apple and android users. I prefer not to comment on those things and get sucked in to the madness

The S3 is a marginal improvement over the S2. It is not a true upgrade.

To answer the thread question....no I didn't bother going through 12 pages...my way of "laughing" at Apple was simply to get a Samsung Galaxy S3.....I couldn't care less what Apples announces.....I don't have the time....or the energy to waste.

No, the i5 is a marginal improvement over the 4gs. If everything on a phone is improved over its previous version, it would not qualify as marginal

We was told quite alot that the s3 will just be a 'incremental update with eye tracking technology'... yet we did get a redesign that was visible. iphone to me is incremental like the 4s was to the 4 but the fanbase is so big they can afford to do it... Just makes me happy that if we got a design change in our incremental update then s4 will be crazy with a bigger changelog... Its defo gonna use the new a15 chips
