Anyone else getting ZAPPED when touching the contacts?

Definitely not every time, but I have gotten a few zingers when touching the metal contact chargers on the right side. Am I the only one getting lit up over here?

Is that what those metal prongs on the side are? I asked the clerk at the VZ store and he had no idea.

That is for the dock connector etc. And the shock you received is prob static discharge from you to the phone.
