Anyone else has a charge port that is extremely tight?

I just got the AT&T S5 and when I plug the charger in it is very snug. It's also really difficult to unplug. it just seems like a much tighter fit than it should be.

You're talking about the actual metal part, correct? The port being tight is a good thing and it will "loosen" up over time. I'd be very careful the way you plug/unplug it until it does so. There were many complaints with the S3/S4 where the charging port was too loose so this is a good thing. Plus the S5 has the USB 3.0 charging port.

Just be careful with the charging door - I'm sure you've seen the thread were some have already broken.

I just wiggled mine around a little bit and it loosened up some.

lol guys. I was just curious because I don't remember the port on my note 3 being that snug.

Yeh I agree the S5 one is a bit more snug fitted than my Note 3. Even the headphone jack clicks in nicely, but requires a tad force to pull them back out.

I noticed mine was very snug on first insertion, after a few days it is more loose now but still tight enough that i can easily hold the cable with the phone attached upside down and it doesn't unplug itself. i can shake it up and down on the cable too without it coming off.

Mine seems more tight with the usb 3.0 cable. Seems more loose with the usb 2.0 cable

Yup.

My S4 was very loose and it would not take much for the cable to come unplugged. One of the first things I noticed was how snug the port is. I like it.

That is to tight for my liking. If I hang it upside down I would like it to fall out
