Anyone else hate the Curved Screen ?

I don't HATE it. It looks nice, I'm just worried about what (to me) seems like an increased possibility of the screen cracking if dropped. The top and bottom of my Spigen Ultra Hybird case seem to stick out further than the screen edge but the sides don't. I have a Zagg film on the screen and have always had very good luck with this combination of protection, but, this is my first curved screen. Had Sumsung offered the S9+ in a flat version, I would have gone with that.

Nice! I really like Whitestone but woulda gave those a try considering the price if I'd had seen 'em first... Bodyguardz has a full adhesive TGSP out now too but its 45$ also. 36$ if you get it from their website. A buddy of mine got it and says it works well. Their free lifetime replacement and free shipping if you buy a case with it makes it not to bad a deal. I almost wish I'd have went that route since I got their Ace Fly case...
Bodyguardz requires $6 shipping though. Not bad, but just something to keep in mind.

Also I did not see it available for the s9 on their website. It is available for the note 8 and s8 though. S9 version could be coming soon

I don't know how y'all deal with the freaking glare! I used the S8+ for a weekend when it first came out and the constant glare coming off the curves drove me insane, there was no way I could have used that phone long term.

If you buy a case with the tempered glass and register them both they waive the 6$ shipping fee so it's free :)

I don't know what glare you're speaking of... I've never encountered this🤔

I prefer flat if I can get it.. sadly most of the phones I want have them to some extent (like my Pixel 2 XL).

I didn't like their cases but that's a good way to go if you did.

I hate it. Makes it hard to have tempered glass screen protector that doesn't cost $40 or they don't stick to the screen correctly or they lose sensitivity.

I honestly like it, I didn't on the s7 edge them so much bjt I feel it's just right on the s8\9+
The 7edge was pretty pronounced. Not as bad on the s9plus. I've been used to the curved screens since the Note 7

I feel ya... They don't have a great selection of cases but their clear Ace Fly with slight lines has grown on me. Minimal with 10 ft drop protection and not a fingerprint magnet- I just don't like the large opening for the camera.

I thought I would hate it too I was actually going to go iPhone.... I know I know and it was all due to the curve but I went with s9 and I actually fell in love with it :D

I'm liking the curved screen... just switched to the S9 from an iPhone X.

If you have trouble with the protectors, try the 360 ones from Spigen (not the thinfit 360 though). From what I'm seeing in the pics, the screen protector is part of the case, so it shouldn't fall off.

It's a $900 phone. A $40 liquid screen protector is well within the affordable price range.
