Anyone else hate the Curved Screen ?

It is IMO more of an issue on the plus sized phones where accidental touches are more of an issue. The S10e is great but the FPS placement is terrible.

OMG YES, I hate the silly 'waterfall' (curved) screen. It's a novelty that serves NO USEFUL FUNCTION, and causes eyestrain (IMHO) and increases the likelihood of a cracked screen if you drop it. True fact, 30% of cellphone owners experience a cracked screen issue! Given that you have to wonder about some things: WHY do the cellphone companies build such 'breakable' cell phones? Also, WHY are the replacement screens at RepairAll and such NEVER Original Equipment Parts? The aftermarket screens are weak, and break/crack much easier than the originals! all of this to maintain equipment that costs as much as some GAMING LAPTOPS? Seriously?? The cellphone industry does nothing but tolerate planned obsolescence which is GREAT for the manufacturers and lousy for the consumer. I would love to see a weaponized cellphone that could withstand SERIOUS drops from realistic heights onto very hard surfaces. Think of the old Ma Bell landline phones. You could THROW them across the room and they would survive! I am praying for a flat screen on the S21 series... but I think I'm in for another severe disappointment. I'm very tempted to go back to the dark side for that reason alone, the S-Pen is really all that is holding me in Samsungland. I really hate the Borg that is Apple - they force you to go with their infrastructure including all of the integration that forces you to feed at the trough of Steve Jobs. But I HATE the curved edges on the Samsungs - hoping they are listening! Build a scratchproof and breakproof phone that doesn't need a $60 case to (somewhat) protect it and I will APPLAUD the silly waterfall screens! FWIW I am still running my Note 5 and loving it even with a cracked (after being replaced once) screen! Praying that Samsung drops the waterfall!
