Anyone Else Having Issues with Android Messages App On Verizon?

I know this will look like a duplicate topic but I wanted to ask this specific question. Is anyone else having issues using Android Messages on the LGV30 on Verizon? I've gone into detail in another thread but my issues are not receiving texts from one person and the app just looks like it's trying to load text messages but there isn't anything to load. I'm considering exchanging it just so I can rule it out but I wanted to know if anyone else is having trouble first.

I did that too but theres also the LG messaging app that I can't disable and feel like that might be causing an issue. I'll see how many others respond....I'm leaning towards exchanging it while I can just to rule it out as a possibility.

Have you or could you send a text to someone using the stock LG app then switch back and see what happens?

Lg package disabler app. Costs a couple bucks but should do what you want.

Well that may disable the LG messaging app but may not necessarily fix my overall issue. I guess theres only one way to find out.

I would still like to hear from other people who use this app on this phone and if they have any issues with it.

I install TEXTRA first thing and Always prefer to use it.

Textra is nice. I'm having an odd issue in that app as well also just with my Dad. I just really want to use this Android Messages app. I think I just need to get my hands on his phone and see what app he's using and see what else can be done.

It seems like the issue is fixed. I started receiving texts from my Dad yesterday and continued through this morning.
