Nope. BoomSound while nicely done simply is a useless feature to me and many others who keep their phones on vibrate most of the time and listen to media with headphones. I doubt other OEMS will scramble to copy this gimmick. I'd much rather have the screen real estate than external speakers.

Personally, I'd have to disagree. The one thing I've become the most addicted to on the One is having the front mounted stereo speakers. At this point, I'd hate to go back to any phone w/ only rear speakers.
To each his own, I just don't have much use for it. We all know most of the smartphones coming out for at least the next 6 months and none to my knowledge will have front facing speakers. It seems logical that if consumers were clamoring for this type of gimmick (1) we would have seen it before and (2) other OEMS would be following suit. Time may prove me wrong but I just think most people dont listen to media without headphones on.
I can say besides media.. It makes speaker phone amazing.

No question it's a well executed feature. However, put headphones on and there is no advantage to other devices since Beats is either replicated or exceeded by other apps.
I want an HTC note
HTC One > Galaxy 4 > IPhone 5

i couldnt imagine having to go back to a smaller screen after buying my note 2. contrary to popular belief its not to big and fits right in my front pocket when its not in my hand. i would never consider a device under 5 unless the market takes a turn and everything goes back to being under 5.
I use to tell my friends that I wanted an iPhone Nano. Just for basic phone calls, emails, and text messages that I could clip onto my shirt pocket.

I don't know, in like an addict.Agreed. That .3" of increased screen size wouldn't have a profound effect on my life.
Besides, when you get a 5" screen, you soon begin pining for a 5 1/2" or 6" screen. Where does it stop?
The screen size wasn't at first glance, but once you start playing with the phone, you notice that is is too narrow, especially having the s4 and the s3. I bought it cuz I was impressed at first, but the s4 just won me over. And I wouldn't say 4.7 is the same 5.0. Yes it is around there, but when the screen is narrower and smaller, it is noticeable. If you didn't Iike the htc one screen size? Why did you buy one?
Do you have the browser set to full screen mode in the settings?
Also, when android 4.2 is released? hopefully soon?
The menu bar which shrinks a lot of apps will have the
Option to be disabled.
Yes the s4 is a little bit bigger. 0.2 of an inch. However, it not like comparing an iPhone 5 to an s4. As you stated in your original post you wanted the htc one around 5 inches?
Isn't 4.7 around 5 inches?

I have both, and I can tell the difference. The One is smaller, but longer, which I don't like, and the S4 is bigger and has a better screen ratio.
The One and S4 both have the same screen ratio. They are both 1080p screens, the S4's screen is just a tad larger. The One is longer/taller than most phones because of the two speakers on the front.
