Anyone else miss the track ball/pad on some of the older android devices?

My previous 2 android phones (htc hero and mytouch 4g) had a track ball/pad and I found it convenient for things like edited text to scroll between letters or certain games like brick breaker or bubble pop. Anyone else find it convenient and wish they continued it?

I had it on my htc wildfire, never really used it. It was cool for looks but I don't miss it as I didn't use it. I guess i can see how some would.

every once in a while. Some website have menus designed for your cursor to hover over to expand them that just do not work right on a touch screen only device. Samsung has addressed this with the S-Pen, but other than that there is no Android phone that can handle those menus.

I miss the trackball as much as I miss knobs to change the channel on my Television.
