Anyone else not receiving security updates? Stuck at Aug 5th patch

My current Android security patch on my Nexus 6P is for August 5th 2016. I am not enrolled in the beta program. I've checked for updates and got nothing. Anyone have any advice?

There's certainly something wrong there. Not sure why your device isn't seeing the updates that have been made available since August; you may just have to manually flash the latest image/OTA to get out of whatever state your device is in.

Did you enrol in the beta to get 7.0 then de-enrolled? Thats what I did....

I'm currently on the Android Beta Program and received up to the October Security update. Haven't gotten the November update yet. I just posted in this forum a few minutes ago

That's a fairly common complaint. I did the same thing and didn't get any updates until this one. I finally got the November update. I even did a factory reset after unenrolling in the beta program with no positive results. Must be that Google has a record of my IMEI and has blocked it somehow. Just one more thing to dislike about the whole Nexus deal.

I did the same but continued to receive the security updates. I'm on October now. Still haven't seen the November update but that might be because I re-enrolled in the beta program to get 7.1.1.

I'm on a 5X.

I'm in the same position. I opted into beta to load 7.0 early and immediately unenrolled. Haven't received an OTA since. Security patch level is Aug 5th, 2016.

I've got some time tomorrow and will follow the directions on this site to use adb to sideload the next OTA.

Question : should I install the latest OTA or should I install the older ones first?

The OTAs should be comprehensive so you should only need to install the latest one.

I had the same issue and like you had also enrolled in the Beta to get the 7 update and then un-enrolled. I re-enrolled and all my security updates came thru along with the bump to 7.1.1

I'd suggest that you install a factory image, that will get you up to date and it will clean up whatever is interfering with your updates.
