Anyone else still on Nougat (Android 7.0)?

I am, resisting the move to Oreo since I don't have any problems with Nougat other than the weird thing with the Spotify volume I made a thread about, and the annoying camera sometimes crashing upon opening that has always been an issue.

I've had Oreo for a few months with no problems. Small but nice changes. Go for it!

Let go of your resistance and upgrade to Android 8.1; you can adapt to some GUI changes (mainly settings area) just fine

It's not the adopting, it's the multiple reports of problems caused by the "upgrade".

As I said before, I have had no problems on my Moto G5.

Users generally only post if they have problems and tend not to post if all is working well.

Oh I know, but there have been enough problems reported, and no real improvements that I'm aware of, that I haven't felt the need to upgrade since I as of now I am OK with the phone as it is on 7.0. If I heard reports that, say, the camera low-light performance was improved, which is the worst part of the phone IMO, I'd be willing to take the chance.

Okay, I think you have made your mind up to stay with Nougat ;-)

PS

I am not sure if you will still get security updates fot 7 as the phone is expected to be on 8.1.
Maybe somebody else can confirm or correct that.

You're probably still using Windows 7 also at home because 10 is "so horrible". Just upgrade dude...the phone is a 2 year old one and it won't perform like the 1st day you did the setup on it
