Anyone else with Face Unlock problems on Z Flip 3?

Have deleted and rescanned my face several times and face Unlock refuses to work consistently. Maybe 20% of the time and then only in good lighting and holding the phone directly in front of my face. By contrast my S21 ultra is flawless. Anyone else having this issue?

I definitely think it needs software update ..on my Z Fold 3 works perfectly folded but open no good …thinking same issues like Flip

Face unlock struggles a bit when I first flip it open. Half the time I get "face not recognized." But it works flawlessly if I double tap or turn on the screen once flipped open.

I'm not sure on flip but on Fold the fingerprint unlock is improved over previous... Makes it easier to tolerate Face issues

The fingerprint scanner on the flip works fast and flawless too

indeed the fingerprint scanner works well but my muscle memory isn't trained to use it yet because I'm used to face unlock from the ultra. a lot of times I'll flip open my phone waiting for it to unlock only to have the face unlock crash and burn and then I have to feel around for the fingerprint scanner. very frustrating

Haven't tried it yet, since Samsung scrapped Iris scanner i just stick with fingerprint biometric

Nothing I do will make it work. Erased and redid face recog 5 times. Won't work.

Glad you said something, I was gonna play with face unlock. Just play was all because none of my phones have any security implemented. I just open and go. On other phones I just double tap for screen on. Most of my notifications are read through an app during the day, depending on what's important I hardly have a reason to pull the phone out except to play around and catch up on a little news.

Been playing around with this. Seems like sometimes the camera doesn't wake up? Sometimes it works good though.

I've noticed when I double tap the screen to wake up, the camera will spin and does nothing then screen goes black. I immediately double tap the screen again and face unlock works immediately... it just looks like it isn't waking up like it should to me... hopefully fixed in the next update.

As mentioned looks like the camera doesn't always wake up fast enough when one first flips open the deice. But it works flawlessly otherwise.

I have this problem but only after the Beta 4 update.

I reported it and was told to Force Stop the Face Recognition and clear the cashe

Problem is I can't find where to force stop it. I have asked support 4 times and they don't reply.
