Anyone elses apps not giving notifications?

I bought my Captivate a few weeks ago and it's been treating me very well but for the last few days I haven't been getting any notifications for my Gmail, Twitter, or anything else. Has anyone else been having these issues?

Are you maybe using a task killer-type app that auto kills these other apps?

I've been using Advanced Task Killer since the first day I've had the phone so it's not that.
