I was just playing around with my phone this morning and happened upon the system update screen. It is showing I have an update but when I try to continue it says my system is up to date. Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it? Any help is much appreciated.

According to the Motorola site, the latest version for the Turbo is 21.44.8, so I guess they made 2 errors - they didn't update the site and they didn't stop the notification after you got 12. https://motorola-global-portal.cust...prod_answer_detail/a_id/102879/p/30,6720,9277

There's no date on the page, but if you go to https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/mcp/service/p/30,6720,9277//#/service you can open a live chat (tomorrow, probably, but you can try now) and ask them directly.

I contacted Motorola and was told to bring the phone to Verizon and if they can't fix it they will replace it.

I did try a partition wipe, reset and reboot. Nothing seemed to work

What does it exactly say, my screen shows the date of the last update and says update successful and the update number

The Droid Maxx had this same error last year for a while. It's just a minor bug. You're not missing an update if you have 21.44.12. It's definitely not worth exchanging the phone for.

Worse case is the next update won't push properly and you can get the replacement then. Unless there is some time restriction for being able to swap the phone. Most likely you'll just update and be fine.

For whatever reason, Verizon puts out basic changelogs that basically don't say much on the day of rollout and Motorola puts out more detailed changelogs weeks after the update starts rolling out.

My phone shows I have 12 but when I try to check updates or states there is one waiting. Click on it and says phone now updated. No build change that shows it!?

Sent using my Verizon Turbo charged 64GB Ballistic Nylon phone unfortunately with a case on back
