Anyone excited for this?

Nice. Great to see more manufacturers coming out with Chromebooks, and with higher end specs. Although I also hope Toshiba uses some better looking materials on this one. I tried the current Toshiba Chromebook in a store, and thought the plastic casing around the keyboard felt too cheap. The touchpad also felt too grainy.

Wow, this does not look like a $329 device. Hopefully all other aspects of this Chromebook hold up and it's a long term winner. If If everything holds-up well I'm sure a lot of people won't have an issue paying for it.

I've been waiting for this screen. I plan to preorder it as soon as it becomes available. I think the moderate decrease in performance vs my current HP 14 will be well worth the money. I'm not super keen to give up my mobile broadband but realistically I don't use it that much as my phone generally provides acceptable performance as a hotspot. I'm definitely interested in the larger SSD as well. Between my Linux setup and all the files I keep synced offline, I could use the extra space.

I'm definitely interested in the Toshiba Chromebook 2, and right now it is the front-runner to be my next chromebook due to hitting all or most of my desired mid-level chromebook specs I've been waiting on for a number of months.
