Anyone experiencing problems caused by the new update?

I had an odd problem when I first got the update. I couldn't make any calls for a bit then all of a sudden it started working again.
Also I noticed that switching from phone to contacts in the stock dialer app is really slow but it looks more of a visual thing then a bug

Did the manual update. No issues other than they still didn't fix the "call standby" bug. At first battery was less but after a couple of cycles it's better than ever now. Can hold a 4G signal longer now also.

Haven't had any issues. In fact, wifi is faster, as well as several other operations.

Ok I did the manual update and now I can't send or receive text messages. I keep getting error code 97 and 34. Any advice. Already contacted Sprint and they created a ticket but seem to be pretty lost. Hard reset, removed the esn from account, and other stuff.

Errors 97 & 34 are network related. Do you happen to have an Air Rave?

Battery life seems worse for me.. Still testing though.. I dont consider my self a heavy user either..

EDIT Looks Like on my device the Sprint Connection Optimizer software keeps re-enabling its self.
I go into settings, More Settings, Mobile Networks, Sprint Connections Optimizer
Click I Agree then Uncheck the box.
I back out of it and if i go look at the settings again the green check mark is on in the box.. I touch it to remove the check and as soon as i back out of it, its back..

Can someone else see if this is happening on their device..

Nope. I did start seeing 4G light up sporadically though...

Settings seem to enable themselves every time you enter to see them.

You might have to actually see if your wifi is being enabled or not.

Try going to Application Manager and Force Stopping the app. See if that helps.

I see the same thing you are seeing, but when I turn off the wifi when I leave the house at 5:30 AM it is still off at 3PM when I return and I don't get bugged all day to sign onto an available network. So I guess it stays unchecked.

I have not received the update yet so I'm wondering about how has the update affected the battery life?

Update: I received the update this morning. I noticed the battery draining very fast now.

I certainly am. Since the update the auto correct function and the auto capitalize (pertaining to 'I') no longer work even though they are selected. Its really annoying because it won't even correct the simplest of words like 'why' or 'its' <<< see, right there! No auto correct to add the apostrophe. I'd (it worked that time) appreciate any help here or if anyone else is having issues with this speak up please. Oh, and non-wifi web browsing is absurdly slow now. L710VPLI3 is what my software is showing as.

I'm having the same weird keyboard issues as the previous poster. And Swype doesn't seem to want to open for me in web browsers very easily. I have to click in the field several times before the keyboard will come up.

Personally, I loved the pre-loaded Swype keyboard on my S II, so I was disappointed with the totally scrappy stock keyboard in the S III. However, the manually loaded 'Swype Beta' works pretty well. That said, could one continue using Swype Beta after the update, even though the update includes a version of Swype?

One annoying issue has popped up...

In the stock messaging app... When I long press a text bubble and select "Copy message text" the app freezes and force closes.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Probably not. I can't use the beta. The beta won't install on my phone anymore since the update.

So how does the update version of Swype compare to what you were using? Have you had any keyboard issues?
