I've noticed recently when I'm talking on my phone and not on WiFi, that I will hear a beep during the conversation. It sounds like when you accidentally press a number on your landline when you are talking. I'm not sure if that's the carrier switch during the conversation or what. It's happened several times now, with different callers.

Are the callers on AT&T's network? If so, it's a known issue, and unfortunately, one that doesn't seem to have been addressed for ages.

Or does your phone have a 'minute minder' option perhaps?

Hmm, interesting questions. One of the calls was to a landline using Cox Communications. The other was a cell phone, and I think they are on AT&T. No, I don't have any kind of minute minder app, although I am using a recipe from IF to log my minutes, but it just logs them into a google spreadsheet.

ETA: I'm using a Nexus 6P and don't have anything set to check my minutes.

Does the other party hear the beeps too? I'm guessing not. And if they're not, it's definitely the network you're in. Not sure why those beeps happen sometimes, though. :(
