Anyone Getting the "Itch"

S9 sales down big time compared to the s8. I'm not shocked. Not a huge difference from the s8 and Note 8 this time. Also, last year many like myself who had the Note 7 upgraded ASAP to the s8 plus because we were stuck with the s7 edge and the small screen so we jumped all over the s8 Plus. I couldn't wait for the s8 plus another minute.

Re: Anyone Getting the "Itch"

I will have had the enjoyment of the experience. That may not be worth it you.

Considering all the crap I've wasted money on, phones have never been one. Because even old they are still fully useable. I still have a perfectly working L90 if necessary.

Beanie babies were a waste of money.

To answer the question in the title of this thread, I KEEP the itch. It's never sufficiently scratched.

Keeping the note until it's dead tired of spending money on the latest and greatest and I already have the greatest IMO.

I never once considered getting the S9 or any other "upgrade" from the Note8. I'm basically back on the once a year Note upgrade cycle again. I don't see anything else out there that really tops it. The only thing the S9 has going for it is the camera. I've never had any issues with the Note8 camera. Then, you take away the Note advantages and it's a no decision.
Until T-mobile decides to really put a damper on upgrades, I'll probably be getting Notes from here on out.

I've put my note in its box so I can use this pixel 2 that I got yesterday. So far, I really like the size and weight compared to the note, and I'm surprisingly liking stock Android. Sure I miss some of the Note 8 features like edge panel and lighting, and I miss the screen, but I can see myself using this Pixel for a while.

Well I've just pulled the trigger on a Note 8 from Samsung. $550 brand new. Can't complain about that.

How did you get this for 550? I'm looking to make this jump soon and want to get the best price I can. It must be ATT branded however.

IF you checkout the S9 forum on here a number of people are not thrilled with the s9 after getting it and a couple saying they will return it. A lot of negativity it seems. I didn't see much of that with the Note line on here.

Some of those people have / had the Note8 as well. How could you be that excited going to an S9+? It's not really an upgrade. Many who bought the Note8 were having withdrawals from the Note7 recall. In a few weeks, the Note8 will be even better with the Oreo update.

Maybe they thought those new emojis would be exciting lol.

Some people just love the latest and greatest tech.

I could ask the same question on a similar subject.. how could anyone here be excited for Oreo or think it'll be better? I just remember everyone saying they don't need it since their Notes run fine.

Things sure do change when things draw near to releasing ;).

your answer is too long. nerds are gonna nerd. all that needs ot be said!

Samsung's website offering it with $200 off (on T-Mobile). That's 750. Then trade in an old Samsung, they take it down to 550. With tax, it becomes 602.

Seeing it in videos side by side, the s9 plus seems quite a bit smaller than the Note 8. That I don't like.

I get the itch all the time, but I stay with android. Had a Huawe Mate 9, Nexus 6P, Xiaomi Mi Mix, Mi Max and S6 active. I will skip the S9+ this year, got the S8+ duos currently, coming today is the Note 8, also have a Mi Max 2, I like having dual sims, plus IR.
