You bought another Note 8? Still have the iPhone X?Well I've just pulled the trigger on a Note 8 from Samsung. $550 brand new. Can't complain about that.

The iPhone X is one smooth operating phone. It can be a bit intoxicating and iOS boring at the same time.I did. The thing was that I was getting to the point where I had to return it or keep it so I took it back but with a very heavy heart and unsure if I was doing the right thing or not.
Then I saw that Samsung were offering the Note 8 at a reduced rate on T-Mobile on their website and with a further discount on trade-in so it seemed like an amazing offer.

The note is on its way but I'm not totally sure I'll keep it. I am rather enjoying the iPhone X now even if it is a tad boring. We'll see. I am ordering the much more polished apps but things like Car Play and Siri are awful compared to Android Auto and Google Assistant. Who knows.
I did miss using my Apple Watch which I now have back and I couldn't find an Android Wear with equivalent specs other than the Huawei Watch 2 Classic but it's not as nice.
Ho hum...
I never really thought of the iphone or ios being boring. I have always had fun with an iphone, but I like the Note8 better. It seems to fit my lifestyle better. But, the iphone X seems to be a brilliant smartphone. The iPhone X is one smooth operating phone. It can be a bit intoxicating and iOS boring at the same time.
You may keep switching because there is so much to like about both smartphones. I can come up with a pretty extensive pros and cons lest you either smartphone. but, I could easily use the iphone as a daily driver and have no issues. The only issue I would have is that it isn't the Note 8.I have been switching back and forth like a mad woman between my Note 8 and iPhone 8 Plus ugh. I don't think at this point that I could get rid of one or the other. But I will say this...Everytime I switch away from my iPhone I feel a sense of guilt. Like wait, do I really wanna activate my Note and turn off iMessage again? Lol. Why do I feel guilty leaving my iPhone. It's crazy. Especially when I know the Note is the better phone in many aspects. All I can say is when you do get the Note, keep it. Your just the type of person that needs to have both options like me so you don't get phone envy when you see someone else with an Android phone lol
Some people just love the latest and greatest tech.
I could ask the same question on a similar subject.. how could anyone here be excited for Oreo or think it'll be better? I just remember everyone saying they don't need it since their Notes run fine.
Things sure do change when things draw near to releasing.
A lot of people share your opinion.I couldn't care less about oreo to be honest

I like the Note 8 a lot but I want new phone! I'm starting a business so money is tight. I own the Note 8, Tab s3 for Square, and I also own the s8 Plus. I want the s9 Plus and also want the Note 9.
Well said. Nothing going to replace my Note 8 except Note 9I never once considered getting the S9 or any other "upgrade" from the Note8. I'm basically back on the once a year Note upgrade cycle again. I don't see anything else out there that really tops it. The only thing the S9 has going for it is the camera. I've never had any issues with the Note8 camera. Then, you take away the Note advantages and it's a no decision.
Until T-mobile decides to really put a damper on upgrades, I'll probably be getting Notes from here on out.
Could I? Yes...Will I? Lol. Probably not. I'll get the Note 9. I'd be kidding myself to say otherwise.Does anyone believe they could keep their Note 8 until the Note X comes out?

Well, since my company pays for my phones, I'm gonna have a hard time persuading my boss that I will be so much more productive with the N9. So I guess I'll stick with the 8 until the XDoes anyone believe they could keep their Note 8 until the Note X comes out?
