Anyone going nude screen and not worried?

I was going nude until I cracked the phone dropping it on my end table now it's back in the case. It's a small crack in the middle of the screen that you can't really see but you can feel it if you run your nail across it.

screen protector on. there are some good quality protectors that feel like nothing is on. will not risk scratching up my beautiful 4.8inch screen . all it takes is one careless mistake. I usually baby my phone and am very careful with it but no one knows. and imagine how heartbroken you will be when you find that first scratch.:'( not worth it!
btw, using SGP's ultra nano clear and it works like a charm :D

Going nude here. I've dropped mine a couple times, and not a scratch. :) I do have a soft shell case though.. maybe that's what made the difference. Gorilla Glass 2 is super tough though, I dont think you have much to worry about.

Yeah pretty much the only time my screen is against anything is in my pocket (so it's against the cloth), but the phone is the only thing I put in there. Do maybe just getting it in and out is scratching it....

Much more sensitive than my old phone

thats exactly what i do man and by no means do i baby the phone. the battery cover has some pretty bad scratches but the screen is flawless. maybe the guy in the gorilla glass 2 thread is on to something.. seems like phones have been shipped with two different qualitys of glass :(

i have no idea man bein from the UK. i really hope samsung havent done that to their customers (send out phones with lower quality glass) it would be nice to see a poll and work out if its the US phones that got the bad glass seeing as they were the last (i think) to get the s3

My screen is nude! In fact, my past few phones have all been naked too.

I always have a case that extends slightly past the screen so that it should be fine if it falls onto something fairly flat. Not only do I have the case, but these screens are only getting tougher (thanks to Gorilla Glass).

The main reason why I don't use a screen protector is because every protector I have used in the past has made the screen look noticeably worse. With this phone, I bought it (in part) for the great screen and I wouldn't want to degrade this awesome experience.

You folks who go nude screen, should at least buy a microfiber pouch for when you put it in pockets or purses. It also clears grease or fingerprints away without scratching. Even with gorilla glass 2, a small speck of sand or grit, can scratch it easily. It is glass after all.

Agreed but I would get a screen protector regardless. I work at a phone store, the demos that don't leave a foot of the display get their screens scratched. And yes the SIII applies as well, ours has many micro scratches... even if it's GG2.

I have an invisashield hd screen protector and you can't tell it's there. The normal invisashield ones have a rubbery texture but the hd ones do not.

Same here. Loving the Invisible HD!

I have a Boxwave case on mine and a screen protector. I got 3 for $2 so I can't complain. I would rather not worry about the screen even if it does have gorilla glass.
