Anyone going to wait to buy it until there are reviews?

I can give you a prediction of the reviews...

*User Experience is awesome. The Sense UI is off the chain!

*Phone is very snappy and seems to fly... Just try to slow this thing down.

*Battery life is horrible at best. Carry a charger and stay close to juice sources

Sign me up on day one!!!

Why would I wait? BB has a 14 day return policy. I'll get mine (pre-ordered a week ago) and if I don't like it I'll return it.

At the beginning of Feb, when I thought Feb 14th was the release date, I was going to wait to read some reviews before buying. Now that this thing has been delayed so long, I've worked myself up waiting for it that I don't think I'll be able to resist release day purchase or VZW preorder when available.

Maybe that was their evil plan all along....

Not waiting at all. My OG Droid has been nearly unusable for about 3 months now, so I've been having a hard time waiting as it is. I'm to the point now where I'm debating picking up an Incredible in hopes that the TB will launch within the next 14 days.

I am not going to wait. I will get it on the launch day itself. All phones come with some problems. And since it is HTC, we all are aware of HTC's reputation where battery life is concerned and some of us already have planned how to deal with it.

Yes, I am getting it on day one or online thru VZW! I always buy extra batteries, and I am not a heavy user, but then I have never had a smartphone before! So we shall see!

I always tell myself I am going to wait to see if any problems arise. However, I always end up getting it at the first chance I get, and for the most part, I always enjoy it.

NE2 ended for new contracts but its still available for people who are still on old contracts and haven't used it yet.

Is that verified? I just want to make sure so when I go into to buy the TB I'll know what I'm talking about.

I'll probably wait a day or two to see what the review is on the battery life.

It is, I have a $30 NE2 credit that kicked in on Feburary 16. I won't get another one at the end of my next contract, but I definitely have a credit to use toward my next phone.

I will, but I think I'll know by launch day whether I'm buying or not. So I hope there are some reviews out by then :P

I've been waiting for this phone since CES, then we thought we had it being released on the 14th, 17th, 24th, 28th, 3rd, 10th, etc, etc....and you want me to wait for someone else to review it?! Nope, whenever this dern phone releases, I'm gonna get it.

+1

Same here. I'm going to be at the door when my vzw store opens. Don't feel like waiting any longer than I already have.

Any idea why my account has a $50 credit, but haven't got a phone for 2 years? I vaguely remember something about $50 per year? Any ideas why my account is not showing $100 for my ne2?

It just depends on how much your plan is/length of contract. Some people have $30,$50, or $100.

You don't get a NE2 credit each year, you get one per contract term. If you signed a two year contract you will get a NE2 credit after 20 months; the amount is based on the price of your calling plan.

I'll be really disappointed if battery is worse than my captivate. I want to wait for reviews but I don't know if I'll get any accurate comparable reviews on the battery life.
As long as there are no major bugs or really bad battery life I think I'll jump.
