took me waaay to long to figure this out the other day when I did this :P

But this worked great, only trouble I had was adding my Citi card. Had to go and change my build.prop again, reboot twice and it finally took. Used it at CVS for some drinks and worked like a charm.

Does anyone out there want to please help me out getting wallet to work? I'm rooted stock and have root explorer ready just need help with editing the files not to keen on this. Thanks all

Heres the screen shot....let me know if this helps....

That's the wrong place. You need to open root explorer and go to the root and then go to the system folder and its the only text file icon you'll see named build.prop

okay... I changed the buildprop file like stephanb suggested.... Rebooted the phone... Went to the market and Google wallet isn't there.... What am I missing?

Wallet quit working after I restored my original build file.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Not sure why, but I followed the exact steps on XDA and my phone bricked. I restored and all that from my backup but still would like to know the issue.

It was working fine using Sprint build.prop ..... I went into Root Explorer and deleted the modifie/Spring build.prop file and renamed build.prop.bak to build.prop, rebooted my phone... wallet presented me with a message saying it wasnt available on my carrier.

I modified my build.prop file back to the Sprint settings and Wallet is now working (however I have not tried it at a PayPass store to know for sure)

What program did you use to edit the build.prop? Improper permissions can cause the device not to boot.

Did you use the wallet files here? Sounds like you got the initial hacked wallet that still had the device check.

I used file manager. Which one should I use. Root Explorer was like 4 bucks, didn't want to pay for it.
