Anyone knows what this update is about?
I had it rooted yesterday and received this. Check the basic functions(calling, Browsing, texting) of the phone and working good so far. because it was rooted before this update. I hope nothing happen in the future. fr Orange County, Southern California

I just received the OTA. I am in San Diego Ca. Nothing really awesome with it. Un-rooted then rooted again.


SIM Error notification has been fixed - Never had the error so not sure if that was fixed.
Improved camera features and quality - Seems the same but again never really had any issues with the camera either.
Improved stability of menu access, browser, phone dialer, video playback, and music player to prevent force close errors and lockups - Never had force errors or lock up to begin with.
Updated group messaging notification - Did see a difference here! Works well.
Improved 3G/4G data connectivity. - Fail, still spotty on/off 4G LTE at my house.
Maintain network connection upon completion of voice call. - Never was an issue.
Background color has been adjusted to improve readability in Lapdock connection UI menu items. -Definite improvement on readability.
All in all not much difference and the one thing I was hoping for (4g connectivity) doesn't seem to be addressed.

the power cycling is not the fault of the phone, its one of the app you have running.

when I got my phone at launch day no issue, after about 2 weeks I started getting random reboots...I factory reset and only put on a few needed apps and the problem went away. Its an app, not the phone.

Can someone who was having the wi-fi hotspot problem and who got the update report whether the hotspot problem is fixed by this update? Don't see it listed.

Got a razr, loved it, but had to take it back because wi-fi hotspot didn't work. Would like to give it another try.

Just got the update seems like the data problem is still there sucks I really notice when I get off a phone call takes along time for the 3/4g to pop back up but if I leave in in 3g only it works fine so pissed now!

That's weird, if you're in 4G and on the phone, you should never lose 4G data while on the phone unless you're moving (like in a car) and go in and out of areas with bad 4G. With 3G you will always lose the data connection when on the phone.
