I am used to the iphone notepad app, and I dont like how the stock notepad app saves my notes and then I have to go into my documents to find them. Anyone use a better widget that keeps notes at the ready?

Just making sure you didn't have an autocorrect moment. You're using the iphone notepad app?

If you have a Note 4, use the S-Note app that comes with the Note 4. It manages the notes in a separate folder you can review.

You can also pin the action memos to the screen like digital post-its. I do it all the time.

I was referring to the fact that I previously owned an iphone and I like the notes app in that OS.

That seems like something along the lines of what I'm trying to do. Just want to be able to swipe over and see all of my notes. Will that work?
There is an S-note widget that you can use to scroll through your notes. Or you could just pin them individually to the screen.

Yes. You can create a blank page (or pages) in your launcher settings and use those pages to pin your memos.

Jinx, doc, you owe me a coke.

yea, so far I hate S note. It's not very intuitive for me. I appreciate all of your help so far!

Good thing is that there are a lot of options. I personally enjoy S-note. It has kept me organized and has a lot of features.

You might want to check out Google Keep, too. The widget for it allows you to view them. I can't remember what it allows as far as pinning individual notes to the home screen, though.

The widget itself allows you to view individual notes and you can color-code them as well. I used to use Google keep on my Nexus and I really liked it.

OneNote.
Sync to multiple platforms and lets me share them if I want.

That's really not a bad app at all (I use it for work) but widgets for it aren't all that great. Certainly not within the realm of what OP is looking for.

I use Evernote. You can make multiple 'Notebooks' to organize your notes, pictures, file attachments, etc. I actually use it as an office intranet to upload documents for my agents to access.
