Anyone have a stock recovery dump?

I already posted this in your other thread about the stock dump but here it is again. My girlfriend just got hers yesterday and It hasnt been rooted or anything. Could I somehow adb temproot her phone and pull the stock recovery image off of it? I have been searching all over for a command to adb pull recovery image but nothing works. Let me know if you think this is possible

Use shell root from SuperOneClick and run the following:

dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd2 of=/sdcard/recovery.img bs=4096

That SHOULD dump the stock recovery to your SD card.

Were you every able to get a stock recovery image for the
Virgin Mobile Optimus V? I keep finding links that say they are stock,
however, they don't look like they came from the VM phone as it was
before.

I sure would love to find the original that was overwritten by mistake
when I used Rom Tools.
