When I first set my alarm, it got me too...took me a good couple days to figure it out. To me, it looks like a clipboard with a Verizon 'V' symbol in it. Looks NOTHING like a clock. I miss the HTC icon where its an old-school round faced alarm clock shape. Easy enough. The icon on our phones is ambiguous and lame.

Took me a little bit to figure it out too. Looks nothing like an alarm clock if you're not thinking it's an alarm clock.
