Anyone have experience with Pelican Cases?

There is padding on the back under the GS10+ that is the same as the Defender. It does not affect the OEM screen protector the same as the Defender.

I was talking about any padding on the inside of the thin front lip that snaps down by the screen.


Was going to order this case but it's sold out already.

Didn't see any on the front half which has a pretty nice uniform fit with the bottom half. Got mine on Amazon.

How are the port enclosing flaps on the Pelican? My OtterBox Commuter was so stiff that it made me nervous it could put undue stress on my USB port and cause premature wear.

The flaps are very flexible with pretty good seal tolerance. Very different from Otterbox.

The access to the Edge Panels is easier and more consistent with the Pelican Shield than the Defender.

I tried it with my wife's GS9+ with an Otterbox Defender. It appears to be too many layers, silicone outer TPU layer with padding on her phone and two layers on mine. I'll try it again without the Defender later this weekend and also on my son's Xs which has a tech21 case. I think it will work without the case on her phone
I'm also going to try on her Samsung watch as well.
