Anyone having issues with the bottom right of the samsung galaxy S8 key

[Android Central Question]

basically I have had an Galaxy s8 for 2 weeks now and have just discovered an issue, When i'm typing the bottom of the keyboard seems really unresponsive (space bar, period, enter key) the enter key especially is taking 5 to 6 presses to function.

but I've also found out that a lot of things that are appearing on the bottom right are the same for example the send snap button on snapchat and the go button when web browsing, I've realized that all these are on the phones 'Edge'

I had a note 3 for 5 years with no issue and it still seems more responsive than this 2 week old phone.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Not at the moment no, I've also tried multiple different keyboards to with no avail

I've done a bit of testing and it seems to have developed a bit of a deadzone with that part of the screen In general so I may have to take it back due to it being 2 weeks old

I agree -- the sooner you ask for an exchange, the better.
