Anyone having the back panel come loose?

Is anyone having an issue where the back panel is actually popping up especially near the top of the phone? I've read a few stories online about it I wasn't sure if anyone else has seen this issue. It could be a bad batch but I wasn't sure if it was happening with others.

No, the back panel is glued on with high-strength adhesive. If yours isn't glued properly then you need to contact Essential for a replacement. It should feel completely solid.

Where have you read about this being an issue? I don't believe I've read about anyone else here on AC with that problem.

No issues with mine. This is one very solid and sturdy built phone. Build quality isn't a weak point.

It was posted in a forum on XDA and others had posted pictures of the issue. One person mentioned it then a few others said they started noticing the same issue.

Does yours have this issue? I've had four so far and none have had such a defect.

Mine is actually coming in today but I was just wondering if it was something that was common. I noticed no one on this forum has mentioned it so that is good news. Here is where I seen it.

This is probably the most solid feeling phone I've owned. No issues and seams are perfect
