Anyone here move from the Note 8 to the S9 Plus and not sure about it?

I've decided to return the 9Plus. Now, I really liked it overall - no complaints about it - BUT- I still like my Note 8 and don't want to give it up just yet. Taking the 9Plus back to Tmobile today - Ipreordered, but since it's Jump on Demand, I return in store so I'll do that on my break. Plus...will be nice to get that down payment back - have some other things that money will be useful for (Garage door, van windshield).
Not exactly "coming around again" you've never left. Nothing like the note 8, yet.

Watch a lot of YouTube and Netflix. And you wonder why you have a bad battery life??
Yeah I do that at night after a charge up. But the battery life during the day while I'm at work or on weekends when in go out is not great.

I am sticking with the Note 8 and will upgrade with the Note 9. I usually upgrade to the latest Samsung with my T-Mobile jump but there is nothing compelling about the s9+ and I'd have to give up the spen which is really handy even if you don't use it every day

A couple of you mention paying a down payment for the S9+ but my understanding was that there was no down payment if using Jump on Demand. Does jump on demand now require a down payment?

Tmobile told me that zero down was for those with 3 or more years service. I was at 2. Grr

Phew, I think we are at over three years service so fingers crossed. I have the Note 8 and it is so new that it wouldn't be worth upgrading to the S9+ if I have to pay a couple hundred bucks. If it's free then eh why not.

I really love my Note 8....i just wonder how good are the stereo speakers in the s9+
I think a Note user should wait for Note 9 which will have same or better features than s9+.... I use my S pen often
I see only 2 reasons to upgrade to s9+ camera and stereo speakers....but not for me yet I like the squarish look of the Note 8 than rounded look of S series ...

Personally I never used the s-pen and Note 8 is a tad bigger than S9+. For me S9+ is better since I'm not a s-pen user, so definitely don't miss the Note 8.

That's it. If you use the pen a lot then switching wouldn't make sense. You'd loose something that you need. But if you don't use it or don't use it a lot then why but switch if if like the new features. If you have the means ahead and switch.

If you have the Note 8 and get the S9 Plus, in Sept you're going to be wanting the Note 9. I was the same way too. When I got the s8 Plus I said I wouldnt get a note 8 and just buy the tab s3. I ended up getting the Note 8!

I got the Note 8 and will hold off until Sept for the Note 9.

Everybody these days finances phones I don't see why people cant put a jar to the side put a couple bucks every so often and Bang there goes your upgrade cash, people make it seem like it's buying a house or car it's not that complicated... life is short have fun get the phones

I don't think so... You shouldn't upgrade your note 8 to Samsung S9 plus.. If you're fan of SPen.. 😍
You should wait for Note 9..!! #Spen

Note 8 is a great phone, they will need to do more on the note 9 for people to switch
