Anyone holding onto the backflip?

being on At&t and begging for an Android phone I just remember when the backflip came out and I almost bought it (Damn yahoo) anyone else of those people who jumped ship still holding on?

yup, me.. and with cm6 its very good. cm7 is coming soon too according to the dev. i also have a nook color running HC so i do all of the gaming on that.

I use my Back flip daily for calling and texting - I use my Xoom for just about everything else.

Sorry for the newb Q, so you are saying there are still updates coming for the MB300, but it has to be rooted??

I want to go past Android 2.1, but may switch devices, so I was unsure if I wanted to root it or not.

No future updates from ATT are coming but you can root it and put a more present operating system on.

2.2 is in beta testing now. From what I have read you don't want to root the phone and then put 2.2 on top so I am leaving mine alone for now.

no, i have CM7 on it, but thats only from rooting. 2.2 is not in the works. the backflip is according to moto, but devs keep it running
