Anyone know hot to get out of safe mode?

I am trying to help my friend get out of safe mode from his EVO. I see the bottom left corner of his screen say safe mode. Is there a way out of this...battery pull? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think your friend is running an anti virus. That's why it says safe mode.

How do you run an AntiVirus on the EVO? How do you turn that off? It is stock and non rooted.

Try to unistall the avs.

Oddly enough he doesnt have any anti virus running. The safe mode popped up after he dropped it in a little water. He dried out the phone battery and after reboot can't get rid of safe mode.
