Anyone know of a way to go from 4g to 2g on the sgs3?

Its pretty much carrier dependent in the sense where if they have 4g, you're getting 4g, if they don't then 3G and if they don't have that..edge. But all the big 4 companies are on 4g/lte, respectively.

Can you tell me which network to pick for edge only? It's set on gsm auto or something like that, then there is another gsm option, aalso a wcdma option, I remember on a different phone I used to have the 4g network setting was wcdma. Do you know if that's what hspa is? Or what cuz I realized that theres no hspa setting and am wondering about that too

GSM only for edge only. WCDMA for 4g only which is hspa. That is what I default mine to.

Download an app called Network from. Play Store... Free. It's icon is silver and black, with signal bars. It will take you into the hidden section on the phone where you can go between WCDMA and GSM. Works great.

I didnt see an app called network in the play store with that logo. Didnt show up on my GS3 anyways.


EDIT....after searching and scrolling down, i finally found it.
