gotta make room for that screen. I'm pretty sure that size isn't gonna turn me off. if it was 5" I would draw the line.
It's definitely wider than most, but I think it's still skinnier than the EVO, yes?
I could be wrong, though.

Is it the infuse on att that's 4.5 inch screen? i think that's too big. honestly i thought the droid x is too big... fascinate/other 4 inch screens are where it's at, but i might give the tbolt a shot after i get a chance to handle one in a store after launch.

I held it the other day at an event. It's a good size for me, but I have pretty decent sized hands, too. It's a little wider than my DInc, but about the same length.
Yeah that's the Samsung Infuse, it's a beast!
And yeah I think it's thinner as well, but from specs I'm looking at, it does look to be ever so slightly wider than the EVO.

It makes me think of tablet cams, and how ridiculous it would be to take pics of something with one bc of how unwieldy they are (compared to a phone or real camera, that is).

nice. screen looks way better on the tbolt in that vid but the guy might have an antiglare protector on the evo

I've looked at several different size charts and side by side photo comparisions. According to the specs they're almost identical in width yet the Thunderbolt always looks wider to me. Must be an optical illusion or something.

I like the width, it's one of the major things drawing me to the Thunderbolt. I can't decide between Thunderbolt and the Bionic
but more important in the decision is cost and not so much the phone (although definitely a consideration) but the service cost. We *really* need to get down from our $200 per mo cell phone bill.It really sucks that cell phone companies are putting so much emphasis on the iPhone that they're making people who don't want the iPhone wait for the new phone releases. Heck, if someone wants an iPhone they're gonna buy one, if someone doesn't want it they'll buy whatever they want.
