Anyone know what this is?

I recently noticed this blue square that shows up when I close an app. The square doesn't show up on the app I closed but randomly on any one of the apps I have. Any ideas?

Looks like the on-screen indicator for a usb controller...

Mine has done this several times as well. It's always the same folder it goes away right when I touch the screen again. In figured it was something with Nova Launcher, Idk. Are you using Nova?

I just had it happen but with a green square. I'm using nova launcher with paranoid android 2.0
