Anyone NOT having issues?

I've had mine a few days now and so far no significant issues, in fact it has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is outstanding and is just a great piece of hardware. WiFi works fine for me and even the GPS on my unit works pretty well. I get a GPS fix in under 30 seconds and I've now logged about 3 hours of drive time using both NavFree and Sygic for turn by turn navigation with no issues. Standing outside I usually get a fix on 8-10 satellites and while driving in my car I average 5 satellite fixes with occasional spikes up and down that haven't affected turn by turn navigation. GPS reception is however definitely weaker than my phone or dedicated GPS device and I usually can't get a fix indoors but under normal usage such as driving it's worked fine for me.

The only very minor negative comments I could make are:

1. There is a very slight amount of backlight bleed. But it is only noticeable if the screen is black and even then I have to be looking for it to notice it. Honestly it's not an issue at all and the screen is just gorgeous on this thing.

2. The browser is a bit laggy at times which hopefully ICS will correct.

I got today and I love it. No issues so far. My wifi is greart same as my laptop. Runs smooth and nice the only thing I've had go wrong was a crash of the mail app when it synched with my yahoo. Weird

i found clicking the NAME instead of the X closes the app every time.

The only things I'm noticing are losing the Wi-Fi connection after walking two houses down the block and when trying to use GPS it did take a long time to lock on. I also noticed when using the mult-tasking tab that it is very difficult to tap the "x" to close anything, I'm going to try the name click right now.

Finally got mine today and it's working great. Updated to the latest firmware with out any problems.

So far mine's been near flawless. GPS locks and wifi is better than my laptop (having second thoughts about my laptop now.) A very slight amount of light bleed at the power button and the opposite corner, but I've only really noticed it during boot up.

Just received mine yesterday (1/4/12), and am loving it... No screen issues, WiFi signal strength is just as strong as my iPhone 4S and my MacBook Pro so far... I haven't had it drop WiFi yet or anything. GPS worked using Google Maps, and no I haven't tried all the ways people have listed including a driving test, because I most likely will not be using this as a GPS Unit... All the apps needing GPS seem to work. I'm really happy with it so far! Best Christmas Gift EVER

Good to hear. Mine is on its way. From bestbuy.com. I'm sure I'll be happy with it. I want the prime to work so badly! I love the keyboard dock, gonna pretty much use this instead of my laptop, which gets rarely used as it is anymore. Although there are gonna be some sweet tabs coming out between CES and MWC, including a rumored HTC tablet with Tegra 3. Hmmmm.

I got mine yesterday from bestbuy, so far i dont see any issue of my prime, tested wifi, gps works well (outdoor) driving, and updated, so far im impressed and love this tablet!!!!

Felt the need to come back and say now that I have had my prime for over a week, and been using it as my sole computer at home, I am very happy with it. It has not had ANY of the issues I see on the forums (i believe the WiFi is reported wrong by the ASUS wifi meter, it shows stronger in the system menu) It's battery lasts me almost 2 days of solid use with no "off" time. The latest update has made the device even snappier and responsive. I should be getting my keyboard dock for it friday so i will have a complete prime then Im glad to see this thread thriving and that im not the only one with a solid device. I hope the people experiencing issues find solutions to their problems,and for those thinking of getting the device, do it!

I would love to hear more people looking into this. You may be on to something.

just read where asus is already coming out with new prime in quarter 2 of 2012! Better screen and new back cover, pretty nasty way to fix issues with current one that you still can't get. I think I have had just about enough bull from these guys. I will probably cancel my order. Its no wonder the ipad is selling so well. The problem with android is all in the marketing. No one has their act together.

Check the Apple forums on screens with significant light bleeding on the iPad 2. I'm guessing they finally fixed the problems, but Apple isn't perfect either. My original iPad had weak WiFi until the first update. There was a big thread on that at the time. Apple sells so many in part because they are marketing masters. You hit it on the head by saying marketing is an issue with the Androids. When was the last time we saw a commercial on TV for the Prime, or a Sammy tablet for that matter? I don't recall seeing any. Apple and Microsoft stuff, all the time.

Got my Prime on Dec 30, and still love it and have zero issues.
